These TOPDC jumper cables have quickly become a permanent fixture in my trunk, and I feel so much better knowing they're there. The 20-foot length is genuinely useful — it gives you plenty of slack to position vehicles without having to get them perfectly nose-to-nose, which makes a stressful situation a lot easier to manage. The 2-gauge wire is thick and heavy-duty, and the clamps have strong jagged teeth that grip battery terminals firmly without slipping. I also appreciate that the cables are UL-listed and rated for extreme temperatures, so I know they'll work whether it's a freezing winter morning or a hot summer day. The included carry bag is a thoughtful touch that keeps everything neatly organized and easy to grab in an emergency — overall a fantastic value for a product that could save you in a pinch.

This review is for the model TOP DC 3A 6v/12v trickle charger. We chose this model to put on our backup generator. My husband was very impressed with the compact size. He also really likes the fact that when the generator's battery is fully charged, this unit will switch over to a "float" mode so that it doesn't overcharge and ruin the battery. The unit comes with o-ring terminals, a manual and of course the alligator clips to clip to your battery. The eclipse themselves are nice and sturdy and holds tightly to the terminals. We are actually planning on purchasing another one to use for our lawn mower battery over the winter. For $36 at the time of this review, it is a good value to protect the batteries and items you don't use everyday.

I ordered this TOP DC Carbon Pile Battery Load Tester for my husband as a Fathers Day gift. I personally do not know much about them however I will share my impression upon opening it. This thing is heavy! Not overly heavy but good and solid heavy. I selected this one based on the manufacturers description that is designed for both 6 volt and 12 volt lead acid batteries. I particularly liked that the meters for voltage and amperage are large and easily read, as well as color coded, particularly as hubby is in his mid 60s now and vision is not as good as what it used to be. Instructions are included; easy to read and understand. The clamps are very heavy duty, and made entirely of steel as opposed to the cheaper ones I saw that were plastic handled. These are not and you can feel it when you squeeze them. The cables attached to each of the claws is approximately 3 ft which is a decent range. The other reason I chose this is simply because of the brand. We have always purchased TOP DC jumper cable sets not only for ourselves but also as gifts for our son and daughter. We know TOP DC quality and we know they are built to last. I cannot see any cons for this battery load tester. Once it's given to my husband, I will certainly share his feedback if there's anything negative but I highly doubt there will be.

A great thing is you physically one-time set the device to either 8/10/13/16 Amps and then you can dynamically set the amperage in the Tesla App any any time. It just Works for a great price I bought two (one always in the garage as it’s not recommended to connect and reconnect frequently, and one in the frunk which helps with the anxiety of first time EV ownership!
